Lady Grand has taken center stage in our home, and even though I could pull my hair out over the chaos and furniture rearranging she's caused, she deserves the attention. She's such a delicate, wispy, lacy, little thing. I didn't dress her up in a theme, or tuck berries in her to fatten her up, like I did to Ms. Noble last year; because she's just soo pretty, all on her own. Proof: last night Rhett caught a mother and child standing on the street underneath her, looking up, pointing, and talking about her prettiness. :) Since her arrival Sunday, as soon as we get home, we open the blinds, turn on her lights, and let her glow. I love her. And I thank Tristen and Rhett, who wanted another Noble, for giving me veto power to have a Grand Tree this year. ;)
I'm currently brainstorming how to decorate the small piece of Lady Grand that we'll keep forever.. Last year we began the tradition of saving a sliver of each tree, and creating an ornament, so that in the years to come, we'll have a remembrance of each tree. Being as pinterest wasn't an active part of my life for Ms. Noble's Ornament last year, here's to hoping Lady Grands' will be a little bit better.

What a great idea saving a part of the tree, you are so creative! Seriously, how did we live before Pinterest!?

i love all your photos!!! i like the idea of keeping a piece from each tree! Do you write the year on them?
She is really pretty!! That is such an awesome tradition!
I LOVE decorating for Christmas and I think it is mostly because of the lights. If it were socially acceptable to leave Christmas lights up all year and decorate with them, I would totally do it.
omg I love those ball lights! Beautiful tree mama!
Looks beautiful! I haven't had a real tree in such a long time :(
It's officially Christmas at M's house! Yahoo! And is that dream car of mine what's in your driveway? If so I am so jealous! So glad the hard parts over. You can stop stressing now.
I am so sorry that I have been MIA!!! Finally feeling better. I love Lady Grand and she is sure Grand...Rhett and T are adorable trying to tie her on...Love and miss you!
