hayyyy! how I curl my hair: a Vlog

let's call this: the Horizontal, Wrap, & Hold!  {update}

I did this style on clean hair, air dried, with no product.  if it's a night out, I might spray it with an all over hold spray when done curling.  BUT!  It can be done anytime, to add a top layer of texture,  and wave to any hot mess going on underneath! using small sections, only on the crown, start from one side of your head and work around the back to the other side of your head.  Hold the iron barrel horizontally as you wrap the hair from the scalp to the hair end, don't clamp the iron {unless you are lazzzzy, like me ;) }  hold for 10 seconds.  That's it!  ohmylord.  I swear I will never, ever, Ever, EVER shake a curling iron at you  and say never, ever, ever, Ever ~ EVER again.

three products I'm really loving

#1:  The Revlon Extra Curl Lash Curler. $5.29  [Found Here]  Girls.  I am loving it.  I recently misplaced my standard lash curler and dropped into Walgreens to pick up a replacement, saw this and had to try it.  I was drawn to it being black, rather than the standard silver {which nicely disguises the mascara that can be left on the curler} and the "Extra Curl" sold me.  It DOES provide an amazing curl.

#2:  Smith's Rosebud Salve. $6 bucks. [Found Here] I'll be surprised if most of you haven't used this.  It is simply wonderful.  I picked it up at Sephora and have been using it on my lips, though they claim it can used every where ~ even on a baby's bum.  It is rosy, wet-looking, without being sticky, makes my lips so soft, and feels so fresh.

#3:  Nude Nail Polish.  My variety:  99 cents.  [I couldn't find it online! I purchased it at Fred Meyer, a NW "Target" like store].  It was hard to break away and even try the Nude, given all of the fun spring and summer colors out right now, but my poor little stubby fingers are so happy I did!  The Nude feels and looks sophisticated, goes with everything, and seems to extend an inch to the length of my fingers.
