M's Week In An Insta

{it's been snowing in the great northwest this week}

{santa bought rhett, tristen, and i tickets to the miami heat/portland trailblazer game.
santa must have been running low on funds this year.
our tix were LITERALLY in the very top row of the arena}
{my swell co-worker Matt was gracious and picked me up a chicken at the supermarket during lunch hour.  i thanked him and made myself laugh by leaving this envelope  in his inbox}

{it's official.  i've gained 8 lbs.  time to get on the fitness trip.
sent this pic to my sissy for a little inspiration.
we're gonna kill it!}

i really really want these.
banana republic.

i really really really really want this.
michael kors.

has anyone tried these?
i want to.

i HAVE tried smashbox and love it.
hadn't seen these bronzes yet tho

me and my birdie passed out on the couch.
a very very rare occasion these days since turning 11,
that tristen crawls up, sprawls out, puts his arm around me, and passes out.
i treasured the moment.

Awkward. AND. Awesome.

so awesome, it's just awkward.

AWKWARD.

-  Sporting the above camo hat, thinking you look smashingly cool cause you’ve seen all the cool kids sporting camo lately, and having your kid silently stare at you for five minutes and then say “Mom.  You look like you just got out of jail.  Can you take that off when you drop me off at Ian’s?”

-  Entering the bathroom stall, absent mindly pulling down your pants, reaching to pull down your undies, and getting nothing.  Look down, and realizing you forgot your panties at home.

-  Equally awkward.  Entering a bathroom stall, pulling up your skirt, sitting down, and remembering  just.in.time that you have panties on.

*Yes.  Both above situations happened to me this week*

-  Messaging a co-worker: “Are you alive? Do you need me to dial 911 for you?  Did I miss a memo? WHERE ARE YOU?” And getting back “You’re crazy”.  That’s it.  At least I knew they were alive.

-  Getting in the car, realizing you forgot your car keys on the table, making a mad dash up the stairs, turning the corner on the hard wood floors way too fast, and hitting the deck h.ar.d.  So hard Rhett yells from the third floor “what was THAT??” as I hear him jump out of bed, scramble for his boxers, and come pounding down the stairs, to find me sprawled on the floor, not moving, wondering if the guys with the white chalk are going to have to come outline my body right then and there, and I softly say, “It was just Me”.

AWESOME.

-  Heidi sending me a link to my new read obsession:  www.flourishinprogress.com  {don’t click if you are easily offended by foul language.  The girl is straight gangsta Hilarious}

-  American Idol and the impending three straight nights of family time spent around the couch waiting in anxious anticipation of what JLo is sporting tonight, and hot debates about who will be the next American Idol.

-  My friend Jesse getting to experience his birthday day for the 7th time:  yay for leap year!

-  Blog love and New Followers this week!  Not gonna lie, makes a girl with a little itty bitty blog feel Awesome!

-  The thought of Rhett and Tristen getting down with it belting out “Check Yourself, Before You Wreck Yourself” on the way to school.  Makes my whole dang day just thinking of it.

Have an Awesome Thursday!
