We took in our first summer concert in the park last night. I forgot how fabulous it is to throw a Mexican blanket and some Tommy Bahama backpack lawn chairs in the back of the car and go plant yourself in some green grass in the middle of a park. A park with a music stage and being surrounded by food trucks is certainly the cherry on top. Especially on a Monday. Starting the week off with an out-of-the-grind event is the best.
