Don't SNICKER, we wish we could give you the moon but our PAYDAY 

only allows us to give you this small token of our love A STACK OF DOLLARS. 

Don't let it slip like BUTTERFINGER through you hands!

It was a good Valentine's start for my TBird.. he went to school bearing a special single rose for a special girl named MIMI.. yes, Mimi.  The night before he "wasn't sure" what lucky girl would be the recipient, but by the end of the day, it was Mimi.  And he got a few valentines himself.. his locker got bombed!!

.. no photo evidence, but a cute little bear and a box of Reese's chocolates came home too.. from Mimi.

and no wonder, this little stud of mine was named 1st Prince of his 6th Grade class the Friday night before!!

this kid.  He is such a fashionisto.  The evening before the dance, I asked him what he was going to wear.  

T:  "PPPSHHSHSSHHHH.  MOM.  I already have it planned out".  

Me:  "okkkkkaaaay.  Just asking Bird".

T:  "I'll show you".

So, we paused American Idol and T stomped up the stairs.  Rhett and I sat in silence on  the couch, waiting for Bird to make his return down the stairs in his planned dance attire.  About 15 minutes into the wait, Rhett and I looked at each other.  

R:  "What the heck is he doing?  Exercising?"

Directly above our heads we heard the boy pace from his room to the mirror in the hallway, back to his room, back to the mirror, back to his room, back to the mirror.  Musta been 50 times!!! NO EXAGGERATION.  We waited it out about 10 more minutes and then I finally went to check.. his room was a DISASTER and he was a hot mess.  

T:  "I have to go shopping, NOW."

Oh lord!  Lucky for us, his auntie got home about that time and took him to not one, not two, but three stores to find the perfect dance shirt.  And thank god for Auntie, cause god forbid mom had been the one to have to help out with styling.. I am just not in the know these days.  ;)  

He did good.  He was "looking sharp", per the text messages from the girls the next day.

I was spooooiled by Rhett.. he got me a long coveted iPad, which I am in looove with.  It's so beautiful.  And sleek.  I just wanna touch it all day long.  I got roses with my iPad, and roses delivered to work on V day.. Yes.  Straight spoiled.  Tristen is going to spend the upcoming 3 day weekend with his family in Bend, and I'm taking my babe out for a couples massage, dinner, and a movie.  I can't wait.

Valentine's Day 2013 ended cozied up on the couch.. with my sissy's!!  Rhett was there too, behind the camera.  ;)  Such a great day.  I love me a Valentine's Day.
