my belly can't even handle water

ohmylord, it's true.  I have eaten so much today, I can't move, can barely breathe, and just the thought of even adding water into my belly makes me feel sick.  So.Much.Food.  To say I took a "break" from the "diet" would be an understatement, but dang.. I won't lie, it was good.

we had a stellar weekend.  My anxiety of the past week finally passed.. thank you jesus, and I left the walking dead and jumped back into life.  We cleaned, we grocery shopped, we had yo cream, we Target shopped (and got the cuuuuutest wedges that have me looonging for spring), we cooked, and most wonderfully, we spent lots and lots of time with the fam.

after an evening of lounging, we hopped in the car at 9pm and made our way to Yo Cream, and Target.
Win + Win.

we are loving every single second of having Bab's living with us.
we're super happy for her, and super sad for us that she's close to securing
her own place.  we're taking full advantage till then!

|| Saturday || 

we rose bright and early for Tristen's basketball game, and low and behold, mother nature was beaming.  Blue Skies!! 

after the ball game, Rhett and I hit the gym

and after the gym,
my sissy Karley and I hit the mall,
and Jake & Tristen lounged around, following us around.

I just have to add this little story.. see that Zumiez bag T is holding?  Well, he had been dyyying all week long to go buy that Diamonds shirt (he put it on as soon as he bought it), and while there the sales girl told him he just had to have a $30 red Diamond beanie to go with it cause it would look sooo cool.  So, of course, T bought it.  T doesn't even wear beanies.  When we got home he almost had a heart attack when he thought I had thrown away the tag and the receipt cause he's taking that sucker back.  hahahahha.  Poor T got taken by the sales girl.  Rhett thinks he wanted to be cool and prove he had enough money to buy the shirt AND the beanie.  I think he got caught up in her saying it looked cool and forgot momentarily that he doesn't like beanies. At least he has the good sense to take it back.  ;)

And then this happened:

"You want crab?"

"dang, I've been craving crab all day!"

"you too??!"  

"YESSSSSS!"

and with that little convo, this happened Saturday night... 

|| Sunday ||

the much needed deep clean took up the morning and the rest of the day was spent grocery shopping and cooking in preparation of the Super Bowl.  I hit up pinterest for appetizers, we hit up KFC for at Game Bucket go Boom!, and Rhett's fam brought the pizza.  We had the best time.  The kids ran around, we had cake and sang Happy Birthday to Cherice (SIL), and we decided that even though our place is cozy, we can accommodate and having family over is where it's at, whether there are enough comfortable seats for all or not.
