as I type, Tristen is in the shower, sobbing.
Gut wrenching sobs.
He is absolutely devastated.
He's not sure how he can possibly go to school tomorrow ~ the first day of sixth grade. He just had the worst hair cut of his entire life. He started crying in the middle of it when she cut his bangs too short. The stylist asked him if he was okay when she saw the tears, and said the bangs would lie perfectly in 2 weeks, and that's when the sobs hit. And then he walked out on the hair stylist. There was nothing I could do.
He is inconsolable. He thinks he mine as well shave his whole head. He needs his hair to be perfect tomorrow. He's going to have to "look like a dork for 2 whole weeks." It is NOT okay, because he has to "look at himself every day." Life is over. Pray for me. for him. Please. He is a wreck and a half. I told him I was going to set the timer and he could have 10 more minutes to be mad and then he was going to have to move on, and he said he "could never ever move on". This is the end of the world for an 11 & a half year old.

Now it's not funny, but uh....... it is. it totally is.
Bad hair cuts are pretty bad. And the first day of middle school... poor guy. Good job for not letting him wallow too much about it. It's hair... it will grow. It will take a whole heck of a lot longer to grow if he shaves it all off.
Poor kid. I know how he feels. The day before 7th my lips were sunburned and they swelled up beyond any measure of appropriate. I wanted to die. My mom still made me take the yearbook pictures. At least your kid can shave his head. I prefer shaved heads anyways. What could I have done about swollen lips. Nothing. I'm scarred for life.
Oh no! I feel so bad for him! But but maybe he could style his bangs up? With gel? Turn this into a new chance for a new do. Idk Sorry sweets! XO
Oh gosh, first day of 6th grade! Kids seem to like the spikey look. You want to tell him its no big deal, but it totally is the biggest deal to him. I feel for ya, and him!
Oh no! I remember these things being so important when you're that age...heck I'd probably cry over super short bangs now. Bless his heart!
Oh, no! Poor guy!!
OH NO!!! That's the WORST!!! I SO feel for him! Can he put some gel in the front so they kinda poke up a bit? Or, you know what, I vote buzz cut. Who doesn't like a guy with a buzz cut?!
Ohhhh shiz sis. Use some of Rhett's hair gel haha. Poor bird, he is so sensitive about getting his hair cut.
BTW, my phone is AWOL. I am ordering a new one tomorrow...
I hope Birdie's first day of school goes okay!
Xoxo

Ugh. I hope everything went okay this morning. My only advice would be to tell him to own it. Be all "dudes look! i got the worst haircut ever!" and laugh about it.
Give him an extra hug for me.
Oh man, I know how he is with his hair...I feel for him, and you:) Im dieing to know how it ended up last night and how hes doing this am...Ill try calling later. Hang in there!!! xo
Go get him some Jessica Simpson clip on extensions. Or he'll tell him pimples are actually worse. I am not helping am I?
Poor kid. When I was in 6th grade, I had terrible hair. Somehow my mother convinced me it was a good idea to get a perm. Have you seen a perm on an asian girl? It's not pretty. I had bangs. They were permed as well. But somehow that was also the year that I had my first boyfriend. So what if it lasted 2 weeks and we didn't ever go on a date. Ha.

Poor T, did he take all ten minutes?
Aaawww Poor Bird:(
Aww and now that I read it I'm actually sad for him. I would have been the same way. Thinking that life had just ended, lol.
But I did smile but I promise I did not laugh because that is just plain rude :)
