Saturday night we met friends for dinner before going to Helium, a comedy club.  

{btw, we saw Dana Gould, a producer for the Simpsons, among other accomplishments, and let me tell you- he was freaking HILARIOUS.  One of the best stand up's I've seen.  Check the link.  If he's coming to a city near you, I highly recommend you go see him.  Our cheeks hurt from the perma laugh's on our faces through his entire set} 

anyhow.. as we wrapped up dinner, as a table, we collectively decided that we would stop for dessert on the way to the show.. but I just hhhaad to glance at the dessert menu and it said Lemon Cake with Blueberries and Goat Cheese Ice Cream.  Yes. That was Goat Cheese Ice Cream.  Again?  Sure. Goat Cheese Ice Cream.  I KNOW.  

I couldn't leave the table with out it.  I said it like 5 times, and finally it was decided Makaila better get the goat cheese ice cream.  And so instead of leaving for dessert, we ordered the entire dessert menu.  

don't let the dim lighted, phone pics fool you.  It was Phenomenal.  

Chocolate Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich
with hazelnut ice cream, crushed hazelnuts
and salted caramel

Caramelized Banana with puff pastry,
chocolate creameaux,
peanut butter ice cream and brittle 

Chocolate Tart with pecans,
caramel and cookie crust
and bitter chocolate sorbet

I highly recommend it.  Menu  is subject to change daily, 

but they do have some consistent items, one being the Steamed Buns.

you know when people take a bite 

and they sort of moan from deep deep in their belly..

and they say, that was Orgasmic?

The Steamed Buns are orgasmic. 

the sauce?

a MUST Have.

the entrees- So-So. 

But the appetizers and dessert were BOMB.

We will def be going back.
