I had an hour to kill between dropping and picking up Tristen last night..
it'd been a really weird weather day.
Hard hail and dark gray skies all afternoon,
and then a sudden break of blue skies and sun at precisely 8pm.
I knew the sunset was going to be layered and gorgeous,
so I ran home, grabbed the camera,
and headed up Rocky Butte to catch the view..

The pictures don't do it justice.
It was amazing.
Whenever there is a full moon or amazing light show in the sky,
I tell myself, god, I wish I could be seeing this from the top of Rocky Butte,
but I never just go.
I'm so glad I did.
....
did you see my muse?
is it okay to do that??
I was totally incognito about it.
(does that make it better or worse? :)
I don't know why I'm even asking,
cause I'll totally do it again.
So romantic.
*sigh*
-m-
ps.
Tristen, if you're reading this someday in the far-future,
you were appalled that I took pictures of people I didn't know.
:) sorry son..

Ahhh this is just stunning!! I know how that goes when in reality it is absolutly breath taking. And the pictures turn out gooood but not nearly as amazing as actually seeing it in person. From the pictures I can tell it was pretty amazing though!!
so incredibly gorgeous
So gorgeous. Should I add this to my list of things to do while in Portland?
Everytime I see pictures I become more convinced I need to come visit. Oh, and in this months Lucky mag, Portland is featured with all its great shops.
simply stunning. simply stunning.
I want to go there, bad.
Great shots!
