| i went to my very first cirque du soleil show! the show was good, but the best part was seeing my girls from back home. love you jenn and lindsey! |
Tristen came down with a virus that triggered scalp to toe bumps all over his body. It's contagious, so we've been home all week. I don't think I've spent an entire week at home with Tristen in... I really have no idea how long. Usually when we have time off, we're on the run, out of town, never just home, living normal life. I've had my moments where he's driving me nuts, and we're both going crazy being confined to the house, but dang, it's been nice to spend time with him, have no where to go, no schedule to keep.
I understand for the first time exactly what Lindsay from The Pleated Poppy is talking about when she says she created the What I Wore party to encourage women to get out of their sweats and get dressed. I always thought it was kinda silly, a cute pun, and maybe a little dramatic. I mean seriously, how long can one really go without getting dressed? well.. I've been home for 4 days straight now and have not once in 4 days have I done my hair, my make-up, or put on something other than sweats, simultaneously. I'm off to take a shower as soon as I push publish. It's about time.
This weekend is supposed to be amazing. Portland will go into shock, I'm sure. So sure, we've cancelled the garage sale cause no way people are going to be garage saling while enduring sun shock. I am hoping and praying and wishing and hoping and praying and wishing that Tristen's virus will finally break and we'll be about to get out and about and enjoy the sun.

I agree with the hot snot photo, I saw it before I Read Dusty's response, and though, "shit, good photo.."
So I call it the shit photo apparently.

Great surprises here!
