Northwest Food and Wine Festival

we were given tickets to the Northwest Food and Wine Festival
this past weekend, and let me tell you..
the photos are not deceiving.
The tastings were Superb.
run as fast as you can and find that cheese.
YUM.  YUM.  YUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
how gorgeous is fresh, plump fruit?

Helloooo Handsome.

{and bald man with round glasses smile bombing my photo}
this cucumber salad is some of, if not, the best I've had.
maybe cause we stood in line for 10 minutes for it,
but probably because the kick to the dressing was amazing!
Cheers, to an evening out!

yesterday I posted the little chevron sequin dress that I was uber excited to wear to the food & wine festival we swooped into last weekend, and for memories sake {and so my compulsive camera snapping action wasn't for nought} I thought I better document the festival itself and the fact that I got to get dressed up, feel pretty, and go out ~ just me and my man.  With school in session, and a football or basketball practice or game every single day of the week for the past 3 months, it seems like Rhett and I rarely get a chance to do something without the TBird, period, and we especially don't have many opportunities or occasions to do so and get dressed up.  So, ya.  I was pretty much over the moon about it.  :) We had a great time, before I got too claustrophobic and we blew out of there as fast as we could.  Does anyone else deal with that?  It's not like I've been claustrophobic my whole life or anything, and I'm fine in a crowd for a bit, but then I reach a wall where I want out, Now.  It happened Saturday night, but not before we had a chance to round the room and go back for a third second Oyster.  ;)

That looks like so much fun! I have been wanting to do something like that for a long time now. You look great, by the way. :)

I used to love crowds and now I am slowly getting worse about them. But you guys look Hot Snot!

That's my kind of date! And yes, I get the same way...it's like too much stimulation if there are too many people.

Oh it looks like it was so much fun! My husband does not do well in crowds. I'm not a fan either, except when I'm shopping... because then I get all competitive, it's not pretty.

I am SO with you on the crowds thing. I'm fine with them for awhile, but then in an instant I am over it.

Yummy, all that fruit looks so good! Girl, I can't even remember the last time I got dressed, let alone dressed up haha. Honestly, I think the last time I had a dress on was for last years GoDaddy Christmas party. Exciting life I lead huh?

aw you guys look great! So happy you two went out and had a fun date night! I'm the same way about big crowds. Josh and I were at a museum in Italy last year and it was insanely crowded, I wanted to just run out of the place.
