it's sort of crazy how someone can reach out, using only black and white letters typed onto a screen, and truly reach you. When I started blogging, I had absolutely no idea that there was even the possibility of forging a real friendship with someone via the blog. No idea. Then one day, "
Girls Love Fried Pickles" commented on my blog. And then
Girls Love Fried Pickles sent me an email saying she nominated me as a blog she reads + a liebster nomination, and I was so damn flattered that this kick ass chick was saying she reads my blog, that I started reading Her blog. And then
Dusty, as I discovered the
GLFP's "real" name was, replied via email here and there to a comment I'd leave, and I'd respond, and then one day, we responded back and forth FIFTY-SIX times, to one blog comment. And the rest, is history. I rarely go a day without hearing from this woman, and if I don't hear from her- I send Her a message, just to check in.
It's my great pleasure to have met you Dusty. The women you have connected together and with, via blogging, is nothing short of spectacular. You have a great gift, and I greatly admire it. I think you are the bomb, diggity, bomb-bomb. No dot.com about it. You're the real thing girl. ;)
to my "blog girl, would be home girl, if we had the same home town"...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA!!!

Dusty is who connected you and I you know..
She's the best. one day I will sit on a front porch with her and talk about people as they walk by, I WILL.
I want to sit on a front porch with all of you girls - Dusty, M, and Shay. Seriously... you all are the best. I love Raven so very much. She causes me (and my mom) to laugh just about every day. And when she's not making me laugh, I wonder where she is. Crazy how blogland will do that to you. Happy birthday Raven!
So this caused me a big lump in my throat and almost just almost a cry spell. I love you! You know that and next year you and I ate going to meet and have more fun than rabbits during mating season.
