Last week I scored major at the Charlotte Russe shoe clearance sale.

$9.99 for each of these beauties that I've been rocking every single day this week.

They have added a bounce to my step and some spice to my wardrobe.

Time Out.

Last week my girlfriend was pointing out how much she disliked the jeans she had on because they were Whisker Jeans.  Ewwww!  Right??  They are just kinda sloppy.  I mean, really.  Really look at those whiskers, and think about it.  They are just unnecessary.  I laughed at her calling them Whisker jeans, cause I'd never heard the term, and I had to admit, she def had whisker jeans on and ya, it's really not so cool to be sporting whisker jeans anymore (note to self).  And then I saw the above picture and it came to my attention that I am still wearing whisker jeans.  Eeeek! *shame*  on.me.  Don't you wish I had a plain, clean, crisp pair of blue jeans on rather than these whisker jeans??  I do.

The whisker jean faux pas aside, these are my very favorite pair of shoes that I currently own.  They make me extremely happy.  I look at them, and I think to myself, "you may not be able to pull off the whole color-blocking thing, but girl- you have color blocked shoes.  You're set."  I <3 them.

Oh my.  And then there are these blue beauties.  I adore them.  They are the perfect pop of color with everything.  I've worn them this past week with my white pants.  My blue jeans.  My black skirt.  And my pleather leggings.

*Slight side note*  Ok, so, you know who Sydney from The Daybook Blog is?  I assume most people do?  Well, she wears these darn darling pleather leggings with so many different looks, and I saw how she was wearing them {here} and I decided that I had to have them.  I click, click, clicked, right then and there, and they were at my door 3 days later.  Well, I have come to the determination that it is most likely Sydney that is so darn darling, and as darling as she is, she is 24 something, and a 31 something woman really.. well... should really probably leave the pleather leggings to the 24 something's.  Although.  My mother told me that all the 50 something's are wearing them, and heck, if they can, I can.  I guess.

I know.  Don't judge. 

 I was looking for a fun going out outfit.  Obviously, this was not it.  

But darn, I do love me those Red Shoes!
