Happy Monday folks!!
well.... I spent an hour or few with my little sis on Saturday and she said..
"Makaila. Your blog posts are so short."
I'm like whaaaat!?!!
"What are you talking about!! My posts are TOO looooong!"
She said "All you do is post pictures. You need to talk more!"
I'm like,
"I like my pictures! I need somewhere to put them and I like looking at them."
She shrugged her shoulders and said "Whatevs. I like it when you talk."
So Roo, this is for you.
My weekend recap, via words. No pics. Though, to keep it real, there were literally no pics because I spent 6 hours on Saturday cleaning out my photos and there was no way in hell I was gonna add even one more this weekend. Let me repeat that. SIX HOURS cleaning out 3 SD cards and THREE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FORTY-TWO pictures on my phone. And YES. That above is a SCREAM, cause I was screaming in my head the whole time through the last one thousand pictures. I did find me that little nugget above though.. an oldie but goodie Tristen self portrait, and it made it worth it.

Sunday, Rhett took me to see Ted!! It was HILARIOUS and CUTE. Only two *cringe* moments where they took the funniness straight over the line to *cringe*, which isn't too bad in my book for a push-the-line comedy. Yes, it's rated R, and yes the F bomb is dropped more times that I could keep track of, but NOT as much as the reports I'm hearing about Magic Mike. Cute story, cute actors- I mean Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis and a Teddy Bear? Seriously. Put this movie on your watch list.

Before the movie we walked the mall and Rhett gave me some money to go make myself happy at H&M. I got a darling pastel pink gingham blouse and the cutest little chambray strapless shorts jumper. I fell in complete love with the jumper but I was so torn on whether to get it cause hell, let's be honest, it's never nice enough in Portland to wear summer clothing. Rhett told me just to get it and wear it when I go somewhere warm. So I did. Great. I'm gonna have a wardrobe full of clothing I can't wear unless I'm somewhere other than home. Guess that means I need some travel plans!

You know those yummy frozen yogurt bars that are popping up on every corner? The ones where you serve yourself, any and all kinds of flavors are available, then you can pile on the fruit, graham cracker crumbs, butterfinger crumbs, and hot caramel? {obvs, that's how I do it} well, we've been eating sooo well lately, cooking at home and everything, so Friday night, as a reward for all the good eating, we decided to treat ourselves to some frozen yogurt. Which would have been fine, but you know what they say. Once an addict, always an addict, and my addiction is Sugar. Those darn places are my gate way to sugar!! I had Yo Cream Friday night, I went back on Saturday, and AGAIN on Sunday. Note to self: Say No to Fro Yo!!

Other than the insanity I imposed on myself
by trying to "re-vamp" my blog layout
by trying to "re-vamp" my blog layout
{self imposed TORTURE},
that about sums up my weekend.
Enjoy your Monday peeps.
if that is possible.

Sounds like you had a pretty good weekend!! I've heard everybody talking about Ted but it just doesn't look funny to me. I adore Mark Whalberg though!
Dropping in to say hi! I'm so jealous you have an H&M, we don't, boo--but when I lived in PA I was so addicted. I love all your pics, they inspire me, so keep 'em comin':) Have a good MOnday
I used to live ACROSS THE STREET from a fro you place. DANGER. half my paychecks went there. moving was the best thing ever. It's still less than a mile away, but it takes more effort to get there so i dont go quite as often.
BTW...i was in portland this weekend...i totally want to move there.
H&M. Is just evil because there is not one in Nashville. I can't wait to see the loot! Its a 4 day work week. We are lounging by the pool which means you could fly here and get to wear the jumper at the same time.
I loved Ted! How is it that I have not been following you?! How did that happen? I'm blaming Dusty. I don't know why I'm blaming Dusty, I just am!
Good for you girl (to cleaning out the pics - which always sux AND cooking at home!!). I had fro-yo this weekend too - ginger limonette - YUM-O!! I did the healthy version though!! LOL
I'm jealous you saw Ted. I wanna go! And I love your pictures pretty girl.

That first picture is classic...is that you? Kidding! And stop rubbing it in about H&M....it's just not fair...I don't have one even remotely close...they better bring one to Austin soon or I am gonna get all cray-cray on you bloggers that can shop there all the freakin' time!!! Yes, I am jealous!!
xo,
Shanna
I have so many pictures I need to download too. But it is NO WHERE NEAR as many as you did. Geez! I do love your pictures though, so I think it is worth it. :)
And I LOVE that picture of you in the warehouse. You just found an empty warehouse to take pictures is? Love it!
I just want you to know that I ate Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream this weekend because I'm a badass- Willy Wonka.
Words are always good, so are photos.. so.. i'm on the fence.
I'm addicted to fro-yos too. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't pile the crap I put on it but it is so good! I have to have it 2 times a week and lots of times it's lunch.
And I like your pictures. But I like your words too so it's a good thing I follow :)
I haven't heard of Ted at all! That picture makes me want to go see it, though!!
So, we have no FroYo places within like a 35 mile vicinity of where I live! Crazy, huh? Makes me sad.
this just makes me <3 you more
Xo Megan
I have no desire to see Ted. The new Sandler flick has tons of f-bombs. It's so good! Also, Magic Mike, well it's deliciously fantastic. Ha!
