One of my very favorite things is when we hop in the car and "let the road take us". We do it quite often. On this particular day, the road took us to the Portland Japanese Gardens . It's a whole 'nother world inside this great big world. Amazing. I just scrolled back through the photos. There is nothing to say. The pictures say it all. If you are in Portland, I highly recommend dropping in. It is magnificent.

Gorgeous! We have a very small Japanese garden, locally, but it doesn't even compare to this!!
Some of my favorite pictures of my husband were taken there when he was a kid. I'm so excited to go when we visit Portland next.
