Eleven Fun Facts About Me:

I'm the Oldest of Six kids. As of today, we are 31, 27 {you can claim that for 13 more days brother}, 26 {as of yesterday!}, 24, 22, & 18. I'm the only one with green eyes. Everyone else has brown.
I'm a Virgo/Leo Cusp sign. I exhibit traits of both but by far am more Virgo than Leo.
I won a beater car at my high-school graduation. The rival high-school gave away a brand new ford pick-up. Wish I'd gone to THAT high-school.
I scream inside while I'm painting my right hands' nails.
I'm a sucker for a show. Just consulted my "Life Isn't About Finding Yourself. Life Is About Creating Yourself." journal and in 2009 I wrote down that I saw the following shows: Block Party, Heart, Death Cab, Nas, Damian Marley, U2, Black Eyed Peas, Lil Wayne, Gym Class Heros, Santigold, Michael Frani & the Spearheads, Coldplay ~ two times, and Celine Dion.
Outside of 2009, I've seen Cher, Nicki Minaj, Ben Harper, Britney Spears, LMFAO, Kei$ha (ewww, sorry to any Kei$ha fans), Mickey Avalon, Lady Gaga [again], Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Black Eyed Peas [again], Rhianna, Kayne West, The Decemberist, Jack Johnson, Lauren Hill, Wyclef, Coldplay [again]... and probably more that are escaping me right this moment.
I have twirled a blanket between my fingers since I was a baby. Yes.. since. I can still be caught sitting on the couch twirling a blanket.
I said this with intense sincerity and I think it is simply quite brilliant. And I quote: "I'm gonna write that down so 1. I don't forget. and 2. So I remember". Makaila. 12/31/2009.
I'm scared to death of scary movies. I watched the Bodyguard as a kid and I had nightmares about the bad guy with the gun in the camera at the end of the movie, blowing off Whitney Houston's head. Considering that I deem the Bodyguard a scary movie... I cannot, will not watch scary movies.
I look forward to my 15 minute commute because I rock out, pump my fists, and sing really really really loud the whole way. Even at stop lights. Tristen would die if he knew that. He doesn't let me do that anymore when he's in the car with me.
I honest to god thought we could identify a song using Shazam if I sang the lyrics into the phone. Nope. Doesn't work that way.

1. What are three things you excel at?

I rock a ten-key adding machine. 250 strokes a minute. I know. Amazing, right!? :P But really, I'm dang fast. I think it qualifies as "Excelling".
My girlfriend told me I have the gift of "Including". I think it's true. I'm always overly conscious and thoughtful to how others around me are feeling and want to be sure everyone feels needed and wanted.
I am simply the best at tripping on anything that may induce a trip and fall. It's constant. If they gave out awards, I'd trip my way up the podium to accept Tripper of the Year. I'm just that good.

2. Why did you start blogging?

I initially started because I wanted to start an Etsy shop and read all about the importance and role of a Blog and I wanted to get a blog history growing before I set up my shop. But before long I realized that I'd stumbled on an amazing self-expression outlet.

3. Would you rather go to the beach over Christmas or snow skiing over Spring Break?

Take me to the Beach.

4. What's your favorite color?

I don't know! Black? White? You'd think so if you saw my closet. I truly do love Green though.

5. What is something you are dreading?

The day my son turns 13. I'm scared. I don't want my sweet boy to turn into a raging hormonal teenager.

6. What's one of your favorite memories from your childhood?

Playing card games with my sibs. We were card sharks!

7. Favorite dessert?

Am I really supposed to narrow it to One!?! Ohmygosh. I can't. I'm a sweet phene. But I do tend to go with whatever on the menu has caramel as part of the description.

8. What's your go-to restaurant?

A little Mexi spot up the road..

9. What's your favorite song?

"I think we're alone now, there doesn't seem to be anyone a-roun-dd. I think we're alone now, the beating of the heart is the onleee sooound." Come on now! Click here, you know this right!? I have memories of being 13 years old, at the fair grounds, at the top of the ferris wheel, with this song blaring from the loud speakers.

10. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would love to live where it is 85 degrees and sunny all year round. .

11. What's your dream car?

I'm not really a car girl, but if someone picked me up and said we were going to get me a new car and the cost and insurance were covered, I'd tell them to drive me to a Mercedes Benz lot. Timeless and Classic. I'm all about that in Anything.
