I'm recently obsessed with balloons. I can't exactly pinpoint why. They are just so whimsical, bright, and light. I imagine being carried away, wherever the breeze may take me..
I dunno - part of me thinks that giving a grown woman a handful of colorful balloons for a photo shoot is an instant way to infantalize her. Part of me thinks all these balloon photos represent some kind of conspiracy to dismiss women's opinions and contributions by grouping us with very young children. I may be reading way too much into this, but these photos as a whole rub me the wrong way.
Balloons leave so much to the imagination. They represent childhood and fun. As an adult they represent dreams, colorful and free. If I ever meet you, I will bring you a handful!

True story, if I ever have a little one, I will paint their bedroom with an Up mural. yep.
