i am the BIGGEST baby when it comes to exerting myself. i hate it. we were about 3 minutes into the ride up to Mt. Tabor and my whining started. "babbbbbbbbbe. why did we have to go THIS way?" "baaaaaaabe. this SUCKS babe." "baaaaabe! did you hear me? are you ignoring me???" finally he turned around and said, "babe. i heard you. i know you get really grumpy when you work out. just keep going." ha. he knows me. when Kelly Osbourne was on Dancing with the Stars, i distinctly and will forever remember her saying "the reason I've never lost weight is cause I HATE to sweat! Hate it!" and I threw my fist up in the air and said ME TOO!!!!! Ugh. it's a love/hate relationship, sweating is.. but as rhett always reminds me, just like he did when we finally go to the top of Mt. Tabor this week, i never have regrets for pushing through it and getting there. and boy was this night no exception.
we arrived in time to watch the gorgeous sunset from the top of Tabor, and the experience was amplified to perfection by the man that had brought his electric guitar up to the very top, plugged into an amp, and played sweet music to the sun falling. it really was amazing.

What a gorgeous view! And I TOTALLY agree about the sweating. Yuck.

we were going to go to mt. tabor this past weekend but ended up canoeing! i wish we had. i would've just kidnapped you off your bike and then went and got gelato.
So proud of you M. I read this and high fived you while eating a ham and cheese sandwich, foot long with kettle chips. We are starting our biggest loser contest in 2 weeks I need to put on some pounds to be in the running
Such a small world! My parents live 3 blocks from Mt. Tabor... I went to Mt. Tabor Middle School :)
I never appreciated the beauty of it since I grew up there, but it really is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your pictures!
I feel your pain with Tabor Fatigue.. my sister used to make me run those stairs with her to train for soccer. Ugh is right. But I bet the sunset was worth it!
Good job for keeping on going! I am like you. I start whining .2 seconds into working out! haha! My friends keep saying the top is just around the corner or over this hill for like 2 miles! I never regret doing it, though.
That looked like a really fun time! And, oh the weather...sigh!
wow- looks like so much fun! what gorgeous pictures! xo

The pictures were worth getting "dewy" for. TRUST ME.
