finally. it's saturday.
....i'm really enjoying tristen's saturday soccer games. gets us moving and out of the house and makes me proud that he's brave enough to try a sport he's never played. mother earth has blessed us with a springy weekend, a rarity here in this rainy city. i'm sure the sun is playing a major factor in the enjoy-ability of watching these poor kids run up and down that great big grassy field. i watch the game, chat with mom's, and entertain myself by taking pictures. i'm determined to learn my camera and how to edit photos this year.
...we've been home for about 45 minutes. tristen just ate a bowl of refried beans and cheese with chips. i'm eating daisy maiz kettle corn popcorn. lunch has been served. and now we're off to find a powell's and a park. that sun won't be wasted by me.

i was out in the sun for an hour and almost melted. my skin is not used to this sunshine and i don't know what to do with myself!
it's supposed to be even warmer tomorrow. i'll be prepared tomorrow. i won't wear a sweater out.
